Working Together To Improve Our Communities
Artists United for Christ, Inc. (AUFC) was founded in 1984 by Dallas, Texas artist, Gwen Pruitt Davis and received its 501(C)(3) status in August of 1986. The mission of Artists United For Christ is to improve the lives of people using the arts.
Our goal is to use the visual and performing arts as a device to attract, persuade, educate and propel children and adults into thinking patterns that will produce successful living. Our vision is to design, implement and sponsor workshops and other activities to help establish community cohesiveness. AUFC has partnered with other organizations and individuals to provide training, counseling, food, clothing and finances for those in need for more than thirty years.
Prayer Changes Things (PCT) was founded in June 1979. The Amazingly Gifted Youth Fine Art Workshops (AGYFAW) were introduced in 2003. Both organizations are subsidiaries of Artists United For Christ, Inc.
We are convinced that the accomplishments we have made and are currently making are contingent on the continued practice of “Working Together to Improve Our Communities”.
